Why Is Registration Required?

Registration is for the protection and betterment of coaches and players.

  • USL Registration insures Hudson Youth Lacrosse
  • Background Check just makes sense.
  • Concussion training is for the kids and required by the State of Ohio

 

 

DO NOT COMPLETE YOUR USL REGISTRATION OR BACKGROUND CHECK THROUGH US LACROSSE.  USE THE INSTRUCTIONS BELOW.

 

 STEP ONE - CONCUSSION CERTIFICATION

DO NOT REGISTER WITH HYLAX UNTIL CONCUSSION TRAINING IS COMPLETE

  1. Go to http://nfhslearn.com/courses/38000
  2. Choose "Order Course"
  3. Create an account.  "Register here"
  4. When prompted for "Full name of school/organization" please enter "HYLAX"
  5. Choose "Order Course" again (Concussion in Sports).  You will not be charged.  Check out.
  6. Go to your "Dashboard"  You will find the course available for completion.

You do NOT need to print your certificate.  We will have search access to insure your have completed the course.

 

 STEP TWO - REGISTER ON HUDSONLAX.COM WEBSITE

YOUR CONCUSSION CERTIFICATION MUST BE COMPLETE BEFORE CONTINUING WITH THIS STEP

  1. If you do not have a username and password for hudsonlax.com you will need to create one (your username and password from hudsonyouthlacrosse.org WILL work).
  2. Begin coach registration here.
  3. If you do not have a USL# (US Lacrosse Number) you will be guided through creation or renewal.
  4. If you have not had a background check, or if it is expired, you will be guided through the process of creating or renewing.
  5. Complete the last few questions and submit.

 STEP THREE - (OPTIONAL) - REQUEST REIMBURSEMENT

If you would like to be reimbursed for your US Lacrosse Membership:

  1. Forward your receipt to HYLAX Treasurer, Courtney Ploskunak ( )

 STEP FOUR - NCSI DOCUMENTATION

You may receive a follow up email from NCSI (National Center for Safety Initiatives) requesting documentation to verify your identity.  Please offer them what they need to complete your background check.  A sample of an email from NCSI is below.
